he’s in my top 2/3 all time “wish he never played here” guys. And the way we had several make constant excuses for him was maddening. I like preacher man but he was on the Calipari train which is fine and all, but then downright coming at people who didn’t want Wheeler starting and just got nasty about it. It was a case study over what being drunk on a salesman can do.

My issue with Wheeler was he could have played and helped UK beat k state n the ncaa and refused. We could have used him for 8 to 10 mins to give the starting guards some rest. They were gassed by end of game.

I hate selfish quitters.

RFW was nice but he definitely was pretty overly opinionated last few years. I could pass on that attitude personally. I do miss insider tips, reguardless who brings it. No judgement here though in RFW though. We are all going through something. God knows when I lost my brother I was quick fused for a very long time, just didn’t tolerate bs very well.

yea he’s a good guy and you never know what someone is going through. In my line of work, we see it all. Rich, poor, middle. Bad things spread through every single one of those groups.

well he definitely did. We passed really good info back and forth in a private thread. Several here were invited in and can speak to that as well. There are some people here who actually know some connected guys. If you live in Lexington and have family that’s been around, it’s not that hard to hear from influential guys. Not sure why that’s so hard for many to believe.

My buddies and I talk **** in private too. And we all know some very connected people. It's not that hard to believe. That's why it's no big deal for some piker to pack it in over hurt feelings.

well Ralph was verifiable. The things we had weren’t debatable. We weren’t just friends talking sht in a private thread. It was solid.

a lot of mine came from 2 people one of which died recently. The other is a major contributor to the program. Ralph had some really good ties to the coaching community. There’s another guy here that does as well, not sure if he’ll be posting anymore or not.

I’m not sure where Ralph went. The board is trash now so I’m not sure if it’ll ever go back to the way it was. To botch something this bad must have been intentional to try and get people to join.

I would t say the board is trash now, it’s just a merger in the summer. Now come November if traffic doesn’t pick up then we can start considering your take. As far as connections some will always come and go. It sucks to lose the good ones but eventually someone will show up.

I agree it’s not what it was even during the summer. But I’m thinking that when ball start people are gonna start looking for somewhere to talk about it. I could be wrong,and according to my wife I am wrong frequently.

I agree 100%. Not that Rafters was perfect - but it felt like home. Was a member there for years. This place now? I don’t really like it.

Yea I hate this. For some reason my handle is now Kentucky15. I was Morgousky with a number behind it now it’s kentucky15 and says I’ve been a member since 2013. Maybe it’s it’s my first morgousky account. Not sure. I was banned once so maybe it’s got something to do with it.

I had an old account with KSR when they had a free board as well as an account with RR. Although my handle and passwords were different I had used the same email. in the process of this recent transfer the first information requested was my email and said that an account already existed. It took me a minute to consider to what they were referring. I tried that old handle and password and it was easy. I didn’t bother trying to bring the RR data over.
