Is the defense simply operating out of a base/shell

or are WVU's blitz/pressure packages being picked up by the other teams?

Seems like the defense is overly passive.

Maybe when you can't pick a f'n defensive coordinator because you don't want to hurt anyones feelings and instead use "co-coordinators", you get a lack of unified focus?

We got TONS of pressure against Pitt's OL, which was rated as being very good. Last night the DL was non-existent. I believe it was because our coaches were "scared" of losing containment on KU QB....which was stupid and the definition of playing scared. Sent the wrong message to our defensive players. A message of "we don't trust you".

Brown said he was going in at halftime to make adjustments and fix the defensive problem. Did you all see a difference in the second half? I didn’t. No adjustments at all!!

coaches knew exactly how potent KU’s offense was and had time to plan a defense that could at least stop them from
According to Brown, we were "surprised" with the number of triple option shotgun looks from KU last night. I call bullsh!t on that. Brown is just oblivious to anything on preparation.
