Is there enough wine and cheese in Chapel Hill to get Tar Heel fans through this BB season?

What has happened to the proud Tar Heel BB program? Getting reamed by the Dookies.
I know we have our own problems, but they do have a proud history to uphold.
Must be counting on Belichick to make them a football school ;)

As bad as they were tonight, the Tarheels would still cook the chickens.

The data doesn't support that assertion. We are 3-0 against the ACC while UNC is 0-4 against the SEC. If UNC loses to Clemson this week, then I think it's safe to say we would beat them just as we beat Clemson.

A reminder that the ACC was founded almost 72 years ago with football in mind. All other sports were an afterthought. The Holes' national title under McGuire in 1957 changed all of that.

North Carolina does not, in fact, manufacture enough wine and cheese to get Tarheels fans through this season. Besides, imported wine and cheese is cheaper than the home grown stuff in NC.

The Hubert Davis hire was a lazy / terrible hire. I guess if they are hellbent on staying within the Dean Smith / Roy Williams coaching tree … maybe it made sense. Just incredible to see a guy with no Head Coaching experience get handed the keys to one of the best programs in the country. He wasn’t that far removed from television.

Can’t imagine he survives this season.
