Is this group slipping or is it just me and I didn't see any PGA threads?

Is May the new norm for the PGA and no longer in September? Didn't seem to get much attention in here.

Tiger bails and doesn't go four rounds. Great comeback by Jordan major experience showed.

I feel bad for thst rookie from Chile )Pereira) who had a one shot lead teeing off on the 72nd hole, drove it into a creek, shot a double bogey, and missed the playoff by one stroke.

I think Tiger is a big draw for many here and with him out interest waned. Maybe they all tuned in for the big NASCAR All Star race instead?!

Southern Hills was to me the big winner this week. It's not too often -5 wins the PGA Championship. That's more like a good finishing score for a US Open. A great tournament helped by a great golf course.

It was moved to make more room for the FedEx cup playoff at the end of the season. So in March there is the Players Championship followed by the four majors in consecutive months. US Open at Brookline in Mass is just a few weeks away and then the Open Championship at St Andrews a month later.
