Is Virginia the biggest threat?

When they are healthy with Anderson back, do you think Virginia is the biggest threat in the tournament? Their loss to Duke only came in the last few minutes, after they had had a big lead. They have held three teams to under 30 points (Rutgers to 26 -- Rutgers put up 67 in defeating Wisconsin, Georgia Tech to 28, and Harvard to 27). Their loss to Louisville only came in the final seconds, and that was without Anderson. Brogdon and other players have stepped up with Anderson out, and have been able to get more experience. They also have a pretty deep lineup as well. It will certainly be interesting to face them in the tournament. If not this year, they will have essentially the same exact team next year assuming Anderson returns.

IMHO, nobody is our "biggest threat." If we are focused and play close to our best, nobody can beat us. If we come out unfocused, as we did so many times during the year, anybody can beat us. Our "biggest threat" is only ourselves.

Virginia won't make the final four. Neither will Duke. So no. Arizona will actually be there so probably them.

I'll say this about UVA: If they lose to Louisvile on Friday in the semi's, I wouldn't be surprised to see them as a #2 seed. Same with Duke against Notre Dame.

I just don't see both UVA and Duke getting 1-seeds, especially if they both do not make the ACC championship game.

Duke is not going to lose to ND.

And I'm curious why you think UL will beat UNC in the quarter finals? I'm not so sure they do.

No. Virginia just doesn't impress me and hasn't all year with or without Anderson. I just watch how UL's bigs were able to perform against UVA and just imagine what UK's frontline could do to them.

I think the concern about Wisconsin as our 2 is legit.

It's all unicorns and rainbows to sit here and say we're our own biggest threat. Many teams have been their own biggest threat going into the tourney and found the team that they couldn't recover against.

I think Wisconsin puts us in a fairly low scoring affair and minimizes the number of possessions. I think they'd be in it late, and I'd rather have someone that won't.

Duke COULD be in it late, but they could also be down 15.

With everything gone wrong with Anderson, I wouldn't be surprised to see UVA have a misstep before we'd have to worry about them. If we play, I think we get them on the inside.

I have to disagree about Duke . They can lose to anyone .hell they almost lost to GT a few weeks ago. When you live and die by the 3 and don't play D it can happen. But i do think they win the ACC T . Looking at the bracket i think it will be UNC and DUke will play in the ACCT and UNC might might take it but it won't matter the as duke , Wisconsin , Nova and Uk will be the 1 seeds. UVA i think loses on friday.

I honestly believe that the only way ANY team is going to beat UK is if the refs try to play equalizer, and or if our team shoots a horrible percentage from the floor and FT line.
