If you guys want to taste some of the best fish that swim, try black seabass or tilefish if you ever se it fresh on a menu. If any of you eat sushi I also highly recommend trying Bluefin Tuna Toro.

And be willing to tolerate those slimy stinky bastards. I use a shotgun to take them off the hook, not allowed in my boat. But I'll eat some, especially if pickled. Walleye 100% yes.
The only way to clean them is to get a bunch of newspaper and wipe em down.
It also cuts down on the stench. I’ve watched many videos and have had guys show me how to clean them. I still suck at it. One thing for sure you’ll need a very sharp knife for the y bones.
I love cleaning Walleye! I go nuts when people cut the ribs off and forget the cheeks.

Up in Maine try Haddock Chowda
In the old cesspool you were invited to hear and fish for walleye. You in return, offered some ocean fishing. We also talked about trading walleye and morel mushrooms. I don’t remember who all was in on that, however I don’t think many made the transition. I believe Gobblin was part of the group.

I do remember and Im still game moving forward, this past year was a bit difficult for me as I suffered and injury at work, couple of herniated disks so my recreational actives suffered a bit. Should be somewhat back to normal soon and I retire in 2027 so I will have a lot more time available. I will be in Iowa at least a few times next season and anytime some Iowa wrestlers, family and or fans would like to come to long Island NY for some fishing I will make the time and I have the boats.
