A number of years ago I was dropping a package off at a FedEx location near where I live in Massachusetts when a guy entered the drop-off location and called out “Who’s PSUFAN”? I responded that that’s my car (PSUFAN is my vanity plate), wondering if I had somehow blocked him in. He walked over, shook my hand and introduced himself “I’m Jon Williams, very nice to meet you.” We had a very nice conversation during which he offered to get me onto the sideline to meet Joe at that weekend’s homecoming game. Unfortunately, I couldn’t go - I had to be in Buffalo. Great RB and wonderful individual.

Years ago, on vacation on the Northern California coast, a little girl, maybe 4 years old, walked over to my daughter and I and said “my daddy has that same shirt” I look across the playground, he looks over and gave me a We Are. We met back each afternoon so the girls could play together.

I was doing a presentation on Crappie fishing to a local fishing club and got one several weeks ago. What's funny is that it was about 15 miles from Clemson University and only a couple of weeks after our bowl game this year.....awkward.....

I have a PSU Wrestling license plate holder and walking a snow covered bike trail. Jogging towards my wife and I was a guy about 6’4” and he slows down and asks me if the ‘PSU truck’ is mine. I tell him yes, he’s got on a PSU stocking cap and says he played football in the ‘80’s for the Lions, one of his best friends is Greg Elinsky… We had a wonderful visit in the snow.

Get them all the time ... I attended Marshall University that "appropriated" the chant many years ago.

Last fall in Montana’s Tom Miner Basin, a valley north of Yellowstone NP. Gorgeous country and well-known for grizzlies scarfing down caraway roots before winter. At a split rail fence off a gravel road, watching four grizz very far away, a young couple slowed to ask what I was looking at and saw my hoodie. As a non-alum, when I get a WA, it’s like house money. ;)

My wife and I and our youngest granddaughter spent two evenings in the Tom Miner Basin during our trip to Yellowstone in September of 2021. It is a beautiful area; we saw 21 grizzlies during our time there. My granddaughter loved it!! Thanks for sharing the pictures.

I was at THE Nebraska football game1982. I had a friend that was student trainer. He would get us game seats that players sold for a couple of bucks. That game I had 2 tickets that were issued to Jon Williams. We sat in the parents section. Seems to me we paid around 25 bucks for a ticket.
No Stub Hub back then.😏

I was at that game as a student. Awesome game and first night game (kinda) in Beaver Stadium history. Late afternoon start and portable lights!!!

I think the student season tickets were averaged something like $3 a game...
