Hope to see much cleaner play by all leading to solid numbers so Rattler is done by mid Q3 and a few Defensive scores throughout the day. Empty the bench by late Q4.

Oh and a Cyclone win over the hawkeyes

I went to the Sooner Club yesterday to have a look at the new facilities off campus. I met a guy "in the know" on what happened in practices this week. We can expect fewer rotations early on defense in order to establish a rhythm. Keeping the guys fresh but steady. More aggressive O-Line on run plays. Apparently Rattler spent a lot of time watching film of his missed reads from last week. Concerted effort on taking what's given and not forcing plays. Rhythm on both sides of the ball.

One solid week of adjustments should be realized on the field. A tune up for the Corndogs. Sooners blast open a big lead. Then in comes Caleb.

I hope you are right, and if executed successfully, a great thing...the approach many of us were/are looking for this year.

OL early will need to show dominance in run blocks. If they can steamroll, then the 50 points spread should be doable...the ole hang half a hundred.

The ole hang a half a hundred on Western Carolina. Lmao. And Alabama hanging 50 on the Mercer team. Nothing burgers. Both should only get half a win. Maybe Bama should get 3/4 win. Mercer beat Western Carolina last year 45-28. Western Carolina won a single game….1-8.

Hard to tell if there were any improvements from last week to today vs a cream puff. Maybe next week will tell more.

I’m pretty sure we could have beat Bixby High School by the same margin. Now we need to show everyone where we are by winning BIG next week. Real BIG.

How many suckers actually spent money on the PPV?

We did. Chuck Long was doing color commentating. That was kind of awkward. The 12-minutes 4th quarter was bizarre. It should have been a 5-minutes 4th quarter.

We spent more time enjoying the Horns getting their pants pulled down and humiliated in front of the whole world. It was pure Schadenfreude.

Props to Riley for having the team step on another team's throat, didn't think he would. He's probably at church all day today asking for forgiveness though. On to Nebraska.....

I'd love to give Riley props, but Caleb Williams probably played the best I've ever seen a freshman QB play in mop up duties with second string surroundings.

I'm pro Rattler, so I'm not looking ahead, but Williams is going to be fun to watch when it's his turn.

That guy looked very relaxed in there for a true freshman. That pass he dropped in the bucket of our rb's hands (Knowles or Hudson) that was dropped, was pretty impressive I thought.

Glad you mentioned the name... Knowles really impressed me at RB. Hard for me to believe he wasn't a scholarship player. They should get him on scholly pronto. He gave me Quentin Griffen flashbacks.

He is already on a Meteorology scholarship.
