It's a win-win situation for the unique fans we have. While UK football fans are not 'basketball-fans-in-waiting', they all know that Rupp's certainty is awaiting in the event of the typical season outcome. So that's a win, sorta.

And if we beat UofL, it's a win for the rivalry fans. That's a positive.

We ain't winning this game...UofL weakness is offensive line pass blocking and we are worst pass rushing team in Power 5.

They can't stop pass but we can't pass block so again we don't take advantage plus our new QB will throw the ball up for grabs. UofL does get interceptions because of a good pass rush.

If Jackson starts he will have field day running read option and escaping pocket. We simply are not very good. UofL by 14 or so.

Plus, Charlotte beckons. Cincy win there would make a great season for me.
It will be difficult to get to Charlotte, and, if we did, we wouldn't be playing UC, unless the ACC fails to fill that spot. There's a very good chance to play UC in Birmingham, though.

At this point, the SEC will probably place a team in the playoff and one in the Sugar Bowl. Then the next two best teams will play in Citrus and Outback. The next five teams will play in a group of bowls that include the Beck. At this point, we are 11th in the SEC pecking order, and it's not likely that we move up. No matter what, we are behind three teams in the East, and five teams in the West. Even if Auburn and Arky both lose, it's hard to believe that a 6-6 UK team gets a better bowl than a 6 and 6 Auburn or Arky team.

Our best hope for Charlotte is that the Chick Fil A bowl selects a SEC team, and that one SEC team makes the playoff. That puts Nos. 6 through 10 in Tax Slayer, Belk, Music City, Liberty, and Texas. If Auburn or Arkansas loses, there is at least a chance that we could be considered the 10 team- or, more likely, we could sneak in if it looks like we'll bring more people to that game.

We are playing Louisville, not Bama. Vandy has a better defense than the Cards, I would welcome Jackson at QB, Bolin killed us last year with over 300 passing yards in 2 and1/2 Qtrs.
