You have freshman receivers and inexperienced players all over the two deep. Reasonable people saw this coming.

I wish the ho would post more than once a year. He certainly seems to have a grasp of things.

I know we are young and we have to grow and gain experience to be a better team. I want our coaching staff to realize the same thing, these early losses won't hurt as much as long as we are better team by mid season

I think the coaches are trying to solve problems by shuffling personnel around and using trick plays. I would rather see them get back to the fundamentals in all aspects of the game.

Actually Zipp, I'm a big KY fan but my wife and her family are Louisville fans. I attend games for both teams (always neutral clothing at UL games-I'm not that guy). Anyway, as a KY fan I know what it's like when your two deep, esp at oline and skill positions, is young and inexperienced. I think anyone that studied the two deep could have had some concern. It's talented but it takes time. An example would be Devante Parker at times last year seemed to be wide open, while he's extremely talented it's the experience (route running, getting off physicality at LOS) that made him as good as his talent. You can see the difference in KYskill players this year vs last and I think you'll see the UL freshman receivers and oline make tremendous strides but it may take until next year. They're a talented bunch.

You play as well as your coached. We are young and growing.
