Floor slapping is now alive and well. Frank Jackson to the rescue!

And click on the gif to enlarge it. I made it a huge file so it could be enjoyed in all it's glory!

I always looked at floor slapping as a sign of intensity and pride on that side of the floor. Yesterday may have been the only time this whole season that it was appropriate to be done! Hoping yesterday was the start of that defensive intensity for the rest of the season.

Just curious if others think this new defensive intensity was a sign of things to come and also where do others think it came from. What do others think inspired the boys. Did the basketball Gods just all smile upon us and say they had seen enough and we would now be OK?

1-I was surprised like everyone else but it had to be in their DNA all along.
2-Maybe it was so much fun for them, playing well and hearing the cheers that it was infectious.

I think they channeled this board and felt all the talk about not playing with heart, no passion, and no one wanted to win. They also decided to play like Duke teams from the past. I got a feeling Coach Capel, James, Scheyer, and Smith had a very heated motivational speech at halftime.

Everybody loves offense, but I thought the crowd really fed off the defensive plays to start the second half. They seemed to know where the team needed energy and really got up for them. You could see the guys on the floor feed from it as well. I was in my living room slapping the floor! I loved it!
