While they may be lacking in execution this year, it's nice to see the team hasn't quit and fought all the way to pull out the win against LSU. Great job guys! Also nice to deprive the turncoat Braswell of the satisfaction of having a great game to beat his old team.

Gotta take the positives when you get the chance. Now, let's get a series win against #1 to help bouy the spirits going into Hades, uh, I mean Hoover.

I root for a win…but winning one game vs a good team in a whole season doesn’t move the needle. If it’s football okay. But in a 50+ game baseball season it’s not a huge deal. The euphoria lasted 24 hrs. But it was better than losing

I realize it didn't turn their season around, but that wasn't the point. The point was that they haven't quit even when there's really nothing to be gained... which speaks to their character. You can win with effort and want, but not with quitters. I realize most people only care when the team is winning - look at WBB - both people that went to the games on a regular basis when they were losing are still there but the rest are only there because they want to be associated with a winner, as if that somehow makes their lives better and elevates them in society. But as soon as they aren't at that level any longer the CLA will be empty again. Reminds me of Clemtech fans - couldn't find any orange during that 5 year Spurrier streak, but once they started winning it looked like a Home Depot convention around town. I believe "bandwagon" is the term.

Even though I never played the game I've been a fan of the baseball team since Bobby was here - and Steve King coached me in HS (not baseball) which made me more of a fan - because I appreciated the character and quality of the young men on the teams and the ones leading them. My support isn't going to change during down years. Lots of criticism but very little support when the results aren't what people want. I'm sure they aren't playing to lose and it affects them moreso since they're the ones sweating and working and falling short of their goal. But when you hear players like Evan Stone talk about their experiences, I realize he gets it and will take what lessons he's learning during these rough times and apply them in his life and be succesful because of it. People like that are winners, regardless of the outcome of some games he plays while he's young and in school. I hope he's highly contagious in that program. :)

Here's hoping for a series win today... no matter how unlikely that may be. 👍

Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable weekend.
