Hey guys, I'm kinda new on here, but not brand new. I lost all my previous posts, and the likes that some of you gave me (which I really appreciated), but I have been reading all your posts (in the read only mode) and really enjoyed most of them. I could not get on the Forum this year for whatever reason (long story and I won't bore you with it), but I just found a way to get back on, so I can live with my previous posts disappearing. It's just great to be back, and my only regret is that I lost my place in the OFC, which I was pretty proud of! You have to be pretty old to understand.
Anyway, just wanted to express my feelings (I haven't missed watching a game this year), and try to give hope to some of the negative views thus far. It's been really difficult watching what's going on with the team, injuries, lack of a sense of urgency, and of course, Coach K having surgery. I have seen most of the good and bad over the years with this program, and you all know the good far out-weighs the bad. Please stay positive, realize that as good as they are, they are still just kids!
Now, I have a real strong feeling that things are going to change real soon, and all of us are going to go on a ride that we will remember forever! The season is not lost, and I believe that everything is done for a reason (we just don't always know what the reason is), and if not when Coach K returns, it will be shortly thereafter, everyone in College Basketball is going to be saying "Here Comes Duke"!
Not just blowing smoke, I really feel like these great young kids just need Coach K back, and I believe they are waiting on him, and we will see a relaxed (that's right, no pressure) team that is going to take us on another great ride!! Might take a couple of games, but trust me, IT'S GONNA BE OK!!

Go Duke!

Glad to have you back on here, formerly JCCols...now Jcdevilfan! That's 'Prince' like, almost!
And Sky is right, you're still OFC (post count doesn't matter).
Your age alone qualifies you for OFC...provided you didn't drink from the Fountain of Youth while you were gone.:D

Ok how does one qualify for the OFC? Curious

Sky knows all the rules, Shey, but if you're aged 55 or older, or if you were a Duke fan before Coach K came to Duke you're in the club. I think those are the two rules, one or the other...or of course both.

Welcome back JC, sometimes losing something you once had is the best way to fully appreciate it but a lost post count is not as important as a fond memory.

You can never change or lose being an OFC, if you could I would be 30 again.

That's it. Been thinking about the mods being given a waiver if it's ok with all other OFC member that is if they wish to be in the OFC

You're the Chair of the Board, Sky, and formed the club, so it's your call. I personally don't have a problem with a waiver.
