We are up 21 points. Doege got his ego stroke. Time to see what Greene can do.

Our entire team is made up of misfits, I see nothing wrong with having a runt QB.

Until he gets Clint Tricketted

Greene has looked good, especially running. He came in as a duel threat and certainly looks the part. I would like to see more of him. He definitely has a higher ceiling than Doege.

And at least 20# heavier and Pat didn't make a living between the tackles either. Big differences. I like Garrett but let's not start calling him Pat White(r) just yet.
I'm not. One poster was claiming that we shouldn't be running a 5'11" QB up the middle. I simply pointed out that we did with Pat time after time. Who was 6'0" and 195 lbs.

That one poster was me. GG is likely 5'10 and #165.-170. That might not mean much in a LA Fitress pickup game, but when you have 6'2" 235# cruise missles wanting to detach your head from the rest of your body, that difference is huge.

Plus, Pat had an innate ability to dodge a lot of big hits. Garrett doesn't seem to have that trait. He got slammed hard (by pure coincidence I'm sure) when he ran between the tackles yesterday.

Feel free to rewatch as much PW as you want. Rod knew better than to put a much stronger and shifty PW between the tackles unless it was an empty set (less defenders in the box). That kid needs to start this year and likely next. He is too valuable a commodity to do stupid **** against a glorified D II team.
