Went to Gardner's Candy in Tyrone. They have a nice selection of Hershey's. Brookie Dough Blast was my flavor today.

How long ago was that? Last place (before the move) I remember was right above North Halls across from the circular theater Pavillon theater, in the Borland building? but I've probably just aged my self by about 30 years. LOL.
It boggled my mind that when they built the new facility, they retained the former one line format. I understand that for the vast majority of time they only need one line, but the one hour wait on game days is insane.

They used to have a couple stands sprinkled around the Stadium. I remember one being over by BJC. But then it was only about 3-4 different flavors.

Having a serving line available in the BJC on game day would be logical. It would also be available for other BJC events. What a missed opportunity. Same with the baseball stadium. For big games they could sell tickets for entrance to Medlar Field and show the game on the large video screen. It would provide additional concession revenue, too. Given the stadium construction, this would be a could year to give it a try.

I think Borland is what I was thinking.

Isalys

Porter's and John Shauntys were local places.

Steiner's, A&W, Big Boy were also good.
