Houston committed 2 fouls on the play where the ball goes out of bounds with 2.8 seconds left. There was an offensive push off foul and another on the rebounder.
I guess the NCAA wants a chalk E8, but Purdue got robbed by the refs in this one.

The SEC is dominating the tournament. Fourteen teams in set a record, six teams in the Sweet Sixteen set a record, and four teams in the Eight set a record. Remains to be seen if they set a Final Four record.

The SEC was very close to having 5 or even 6 elite 8 teams. Pitiful Arkansas and ole miss stood toe to toe with the big 12s 2nd best team and big 10s best respectively.
