Kinda hard to believe that these kids are getting hurt so much. Some of them barely even get hit and get hurt. Are we just overly cautious these days that kids can't play with a little pain? They seem so fragile
I realize the players today are bigger and stronger than ever before but it also seems as if those same players today dont play today with injuries they would have in the older days.

BTW, do kids even get out today and play backyard tackle football like we did in the old days? I know we use to knock the crap out of each other without any gear at all and no respect for the health of our body. Are kids just smarter today than we were?

Smarter? No. Everything now is organized. Every podunk town in Oklahoma has 2nd graders out there playing in some organized football league. As far as injuries, I think these kids in college are so afraid to play with pain. Probably afraid it will mess up their NFL future that most of them aren't going to have anyway.

I’m not sure who’s going to win, but Texas got way more pressure going into the game. They want revenge from last year, then Georgia, then have a gritty Vandy team waiting for them.

I remember one year Jerald Moore scoring five TD's vs. Okie State. He did it suffering from turf toe.

I did not wake up feeling good about this game for the first time in a long time.

From the injuries, to the inept offense to seeing nothing truly inspiring from this coaching staff as a whole (outside of defensive improvement which was the bare minimum bringing in Brent), i find myself hoping that a heroic defensive performance and some rivalry shenanigans puts us in a chance to win this and progress moving throughout the season.

Some injuries are legit and some are guys being soft. Not just OU but everywhere. It’s pathetic.

At the beginning of the week, the line was tx -14. Today it's tx -17 with the over/under at 49. We need some defensive magic with some mediocre offence and make this game closer. Odd's maker's are usually pretty close, but sometimes they get it way wrong.
F@&k the wronghorns!

As has always. The 'cold wars' of the 70s against husker? My fears were real. Whorn? I don't give a God dam if we only field OUr 3rd stringers, we've a fighting chance.

**** the whorns, BOOMER! 😁

The things most concerning about the future is that Sarkisian seems to have figured out how to shed the "entitled" mentality from the program and it seems more business like.

We have to win with physicality.

I've the feeling OUr defense is gonna save the day. Just a hunch. A "perfect storm".

Gotta get points when they gift you the ball. Sooners didn't, missed fg after an int. 🤪

he wasn’t the only issue but Hawkins deserved the chance. Arnold was completely lost

I agree. As far as that drive absolutely terrible tackling.

Our OL is going to get our QB hurt….regardless of which one is in the game.

How about running the ball they have gained 4-5 yards a carry.

I thought OU could keep it within 14, but now I dont see them scoring again. Hawkins cant throw and Littrell doesnt know how to control a game.

Gonna be a Rout. 3 yrs and this is the best they can do. The whole staff is lost.

Do we see Jackson Arnold in the second half

Arnold was struggling against weaker competition, even with Deion Burks and Jalil Farooq in the lineup. I don't think he's going to fare any better with his 6th, 7th and 8th string wide receivers against one of the best defenses in the country.

The offensive line was even worse earlier.

I have been reading while watching game. This offense game plan has been pathetic. How in the hell does anyone expect the D to maintain focus when they know the offense cant do ****. SL needs to go.

At this point I no longer think OU can beat anyone other than possibly Maine. The South Carolina defense is as good as Texas, doubt OU could remotley outscore Ole Miss, Mizzou, Bama or LSU. This is Blake era ****
