Reminds me of when doctors advertise themselves as "Harvard trained" after they attended a weekend continuing medical education course. Technically they're not lying.

It was frequent enough for folks to giggle when it came up.
Weird thing was that the guy was really smart, really competent dude. He did not even need it. Just could not help himself.
He did a 1 week executive program thing at Harvard.

I took one class at Harvard one summer that was mostly high school kids. I got an A.
You better believe I've been saying I have a 4.0 at Harvard ever since. Most people know it as a joke - I wouldn't say it as a way to pass off my professional bonifides or anything, but every time I tell anyone a story about that summer, I say, "when I was at Harvard, where I got a 4.0..."
Let's just say my NU GPA was nowhere near that.
You better believe I've been saying I have a 4.0 at Harvard ever since. Most people know it as a joke - I wouldn't say it as a way to pass off my professional bonifides or anything, but every time I tell anyone a story about that summer, I say, "when I was at Harvard, where I got a 4.0..."

I sat in on a class when my kid was attending the school in question; therefore, I am Harvard trained as well. Since we broke the 15-year losing streak against IU my freshman year in 2003, we're 17-17 against them.
imho the truth is he's just a really bad ref. I always hate seeing him on the court.
