I wanted it to be us. Hopefully Pope just keeps killing it.

You wanted UK to hire a D2 coach last year? A mega successful D2 coach, but a D2 coach nonetheless, and one with no connection to the state or school (that I know of). I can’t imagine the uproar if Barnhart had done that.
Good coach. If i were an IU fan, and thank god i’m not, McCollum would have been my preference. Guy may just be a basketball genius.
I was hoping they would end up with Doug Gottlieb.
