Really surprised they kept Perkins in as long as they did. He was throwing a really good game, but you can tell he didn't want to be out there in the fourth. The team apparently thought the same with their looks to the dugout. I suppose it was a teachable moment, to pitch through adversity, but he hasn't gone over three innings all season. Turned out to be a big break for IU.
