I've always felt sorry for Anthony Wright & the outcomes he had at Carolina

The '96 team should have been 8-3 at worst. The '97 team should not have been 5-6. And then there's '98...........Fat Bradstard & his whole staff should have been prosecuted for crimes against humanity.

To my recollection, he is the only QB we've ever put in the NFL - not counting Rattler. Alabama has 5 on rosters this year.

A1 lasted in the NFL for a while. I remember him playing for the Ravens.
I always thought he should have gotten the nod in Dallas ahead of Quincy Carter. I guess things usually shake out like they should, but I think he could have been developed into a better NFL QB if given the chance.

Shaw started one game for Cleveland and Dylan Thompson was active as a back up QB for the rams for a few games but never recorded a stat.
Yeah Dylan was picked up originally by the 49ers. I know he played in some preseason games. He ended up as a coach for the Lions. He's with Commanders now so he's probably doing well.

I've always wondered how A-1 would have done in a Spurrier Offense. He was really gifted and with the right coaching and O-Line he would have been ALL SEC and 1-2 round pick. He was that naturally talented.

A1 played 9 seasons in the NFL and got a SB ring with the Giants.
I was impressed as to how well he picked up NFL offenses.
Clearly he had a much higher football IQ than we saw at USC.

I would have loved to see him play for Steve.

Dan Reeves was a QB at Carolina.

Shaw also started at least one game for the Bears.

If we are going all time not just NFL Qb's since Wright, you cant forget Bill Troup, he played for 7 seasons, and in 43 games started 11 and threw for over 2,000 yards in his NFL career, and had a year in Canada to boot

Shaw never started for the Bears nor ever recorded any actual game stats with them. He did play some preseason games with them.

He had one career start at Baltimore and that was it, its super easy to look up, and verify Im correct, on this, NFL stats are well kept

Forgot about Reeves, unaware of Troup. Was more thinking of QBs that had/have a career in the NFL which I don't think Shaw or Thompson qualify for that distinction
