Enjoyed the read. It's a sad state that the south side of Chicago is in. It's especially sad that there doesn't seem to be any sense of urgency to correct it. For every dark night there is a bright day and people like Jabari give others hope. Granted, he had better fortune when compared to a lot of the other people growing up there.
