from NC State's Website:

In just 17 games as an ACC quarterback, Jacoby Brissett now holds two of the top eight interception-free streaks in ACC history.

Brissett threw 187 passes without being picked off in 2014 - the seventh-longest streak in ACC
history. He has currently gone 189 straight without a pick, tied as the second-best current streak
in the FBS and now the seventh-best in league history.

The senior has been INT free for 30 quarters, dating back to the Georgia Tech game on Nov. 8,
2014 (the Wolfpack’s last loss). In the six games games since, he’s thrown for 11 touchdowns.
Last season, of Brissett’s paltry five picks, only one came in a road game. He has 172 pass
attempts in true road games, 198 attempts including the bowl game

That is very impressive. He is averaging a tad over 6 passes a quarter for 7 1/2 games without throwing a pick. The young man obviously makes sound decisions as a QB.

Only one road game pick last year? I wonder who that was against? The same team that will end his current streak! The nation's top intercepting team.

If Jacoby Brissett was all that great of a qb he'd still be at UF where they really do care about qbs.

Jacoby Brissett transferred because Will Muschamp decided to name Jeff Driskel the starter instead of Brissett. Will Muschamp is now an embattled defensive coordinator at Auburn, so I'm not sure I agree with your sentiment. Brissett is the real deal.

… and Jeff is now playing at La. Tech where they also care about QBs, if named Bradshaw.

If I remember correctly, Florida chose to persue Jacobe Brissett over Teddy.

You have to factor in the very weak schedule Brissett has faced while "amassing" his incredible stats. It's nothing to hold up as better than below average. I think we will bottle him up on Saturday and come away with a win.

If the field is going to be wet then ball control/clock management is going to be key factors along with ball protection.

Hmm.. Ball control and clock management. Two things we have been horrible at.

Well I guess it won't be wet on "their" side of the field. Sheesh!

Didn't Jeff Briskel also transfer?

Pretty sure it'll be wet on their side of the field too. I was just pointing out that a wet field is going to enhance the need for ball control & clock management, AND taking care of the ball since it's going to be wet. A wet field negates speed which will most likely even the playing field.
