Jones sounded pretty solid even days after Dawson was canned. I'm hopeful we can keep him. Good things happening with OL. Wills coming aboard even better.
wish people would just stop making silly comments every time one of our guys gets another offer. Staff has a pretty good track record of keeping guys in the fold and they recruit these kinds of guys too.
Although I do believe that we will eventually get a commit from Jedrick Wills, I seriously doubt it will be any type of early commitment. in other words, I do not see him committing and then being a leader to bring in other commits. Whenever(and to whomever) he commits, then it will be late in the process. Do I know this for a fact? NO, but from everything I have read so far this seems to be the direction his recruitment is heading.
It really just depends on the relationships. If Wills gets to a point where he is set on his choice he may shut it down. These kids get absolutely harassed.
It's always hard to keep kids, but I learned the lesson in this class not to assume they will be gone with the next offer

I listened to a MJ podcast where he had a nice casual interview with Marrow. What I heard him say (please feel free to correct me)..... We're recruiting well, but at some point the wins need to come. Can't keep selling hope or a vision... If the wins can get over the hump then things really start to happen.... That's kind'a what I thought he said.... I hope for all you fans and Board contributors that this happens,,,, because it's been a long and winding road for this s.o.b. for damn sure!!!
