Just "ehh" and bad shooting at Southern Miss and Wichita first 3 years. Made a huge jump this year. Did he get a lot better, or was it the competition? But hard not to like any POY.
Also, it doesn't say it in the pic above, but is 6'5.

Ha tough crowd tonight lol.
How's his shot part was funny.
From the looks of it this guy can fill it up. Possibly a diamond in the rough. I just wonder how his game translates to big time college basketball. Can he facilitate, lead an offense, or play defense?

He's lightning fast in the open floor. Jaron has good size, handles, experience, and like I said before he can shoot the 3.
I'm happy to say I kinda over reacted internally to missing out on some other backcourt targets. I think Jaron Pierre is up for the task and by all indications wants to be a part of UK/BBN.

From what I have seen Pierre is super athletic, a three level scorer with a good handle. Can get his own shot when he wants and is a willing passer. His shooting form is really good, surprised his percentages are not higher. The way he moves would like to see him on defense. At 6-5 he can shoot over defenders at the two level. The type of player you could give the ball to when you need a big shot to go down. Hope we can get him. He is really good.

Yes and he scored more points than anyone last year, 777. It was pointed out that with volume he shot his shooting percentages are really good. He looks like a future pro to me on film. Offensively he has it all it looks like. Can see why his assists stats are good also. Sort of like a mini Michael Jordan in a way, just an inch shorter. Wrap him up now.
