PG - Jason Crowe Jr. is a rising star in the 2026 class. He appears to be a slightly quicker/bouncier version of Acaden Lewis(Lefty and all). The nice thing about him is that he seems to do it on both ends of the floor offense and defense. Like Reed did, he seems to know where the ball is going and regularly makes interceptions.

I know Tay Kinney is a really good home grown product that hopefully we get. But this guy looks like a star. Maybe Tay will grow a couple of inches and can play off the ball.

The only thing that worries me in the very few videos I've watched is he's ball dominate and doesn't really seem to look for his teammates a whole lot.

I thought that first, but he has his moments, if you watch most of the highlights. Plus, I don’t feel like highlight vids ever show much on defense/assists/rebounding and we certainly don’t see misses or turnovers😊

Yeah it's probably just me nitpicking but it was just an observation on the 2 videos I watched.

Crowe is averaging 37.5 ,4.1 assists, and 3.8 steals.

He is only shooting 25% from three-point range but is great at getting to the rim and drawing fouls . Is a great free throw shooter at 86% , 200 of his 271 field goal attempts have been two-pointers. He is shooting 57.5% from that area of the floor.

Thanks. Statistics add a great deal to the evaluation.

I know he's close with Hart already. He would be a huge get, especially since he's a west coast kid and those dudes rarely head to Lexington as freshmen.

As long as we have two guys from the Lewis, Kinney, and Crowe trio for '25-26, I'll be happy.

It appears that Crowe can be a tough shot maker. The problem to me from watching those videos is that he seems to relish being a tough shot taker. I would much rather have Kinney at PG.

I believe Kinney would be a much better fit for Popes offense.

I’ll be pleasantly surprised if Hart is here in 25-26 .

He’s really good but he must develop a 3 point shot to be effective at the next levels.

He seems to be pretty valuable, I hope we use the Calipari savings to reward our coaches after a couple solid years. I see no reason why we shouldn’t do what we have to to retain them so far.
It all depends on how bad/fast he wants to become a head coach imo .

May mean nothing at all but Crowe also announced a few days ago he'll be playing with the Oakland Soldiers in the EYBL this upcoming AAU season and be teammates with Tyran Stokes.
