Jax vs Vito

Less than a week away. Predictions?

My guess is that Vito will be defensive because he knows Jax loves to open it up. Hope to frustrate him and get him to take a risk and counter. Should be interesting; great opportunity for Jax.

I honestly think it’s a bad matchup for Jax if Vito is healthy.

I say this because Vito is very strong and opportunistic with his defense. Jax is a risk taker and that plays into Vito.

But, Jax is risky and tricky! He does stuff that can’t be scouted (because he half makes things up on the fly) and that bodes well in many situations.

My pick is Jax!

Vito would love to put it away but Jax is never out of a match. I predict Vito will try for a quick takedown at the beginning and then will mostly watch for counter opportunities. My brain says Vito will win due to experience, but my heart says Jax will win with craftiness and Vito's lagging health issues.

I think Jax will get it done. I doubted him against Gross and we all know how that ended. Vito is an animal, but I don't think he's 100% and that could be the difference. Regardless of what happens this weekend, we've got a generational talent coming to the pokes and I can't wait to see him in orange!

Love Jax, but Vito is a really tough out IF healthy and would be hard to bet against. With that said, I hope Jax is eating victory ice cream by 5:30 p.m. Monday.

You can look at it this way…at what percentage of health is Jax equal to Vito?

IMO, he’s not far off. I’d give Vito the edge in strength and experience, I’d give Jax the edge on creativity and making chicken salad when there’s only live chickens…it’s a push on speed. So, to me, Jax is currently above the 95% range of Vito.

If Vito is only 90%, Jax would be the favorite.

A push on SPEED?

Come on man. You're not paying attention if you think that. Vito is the fastest guy at 61 in the world. And Jax isn't fast. Not a single bit.

His attacks are extremely fast and explosive. Maybe I’m biased, but it’s been two years since I’ve seen Vito Wrestle and if you don’t use it you lose it!

Nothing about Jax is "fast and explosive"

Riddle me this - when was the last time you saw jax blow anyone off their feet from a shot, or anything at all, ever? He's slicker than a Exxon Mobil oil spill, but that ain't his bag.

We'll see how healthy Vito is in a few short hours!

Haha, just because he doesn’t knock people off they’re feet doesn’t mean he’s not fast.

But, I might agree a little more. Some of the stuff he does happens so fast I might be deceived on overall speed.

I hate that this is on Flow. I refuse to pay for their crappy productions. The number of times I've watched a match where the audio doesn't work or vice versa or is just a blank screen is to many to count.

I'll just wait for someone to post the results and watch it later.

Vito was in on Jax leg 5 times during the match but only scored on one and Jax countered for a score. With about ten seconds left in the match and Jax down 3-2, Jax scored on a slide by move to win 4-3. Very competitive match but IMO Jax needs to be more aggressive in the 2nd match to win.

Jax scored early on a takedown and leg lace and at the end of the period scored 5th point on a push out to lead 5-0.
Frankly Vito looked gassed in the middle of 2nd period but did manage a takedown which Jax quickly reversed and the final score was 7-2. Vito, after a 9 month absence from wrestling did not look like the same wrestler who won the world championship (not to take anything away from Jax).
