I don't know about you guys but I LOVE the Duke Blue Planet exposure series. Check out all the articles by past and present players at http://dukeblueplanet.exposure.co/.

The most recent one is by Jay Bilas. Check out this quote about this years team. If it doesn't get you excited well...

"We’re very excited about this year’s team. You want them to play for each other and Duke, without concern about what has come before them. When I played here, we were trying to do something for ourselves. We did talk about trying to put a foundation down that was going to last, but we wanted to win for us. That’s how it should be. And this group can do that.

These guys are men. They look like men, they’re built like men, and they play like men. Duke has a chance this year to do something that no team has done in a long, long time. They’ve got a chance to be historically good. There’s not a team out there that Duke cannot beat."

Great piece. I had a chance to read it over the weekend. Here was my favorite part...

"If you look at my time here as a player as an investment — of time and effort — the return on that investment is off the charts. I couldn’t have imagined that I would benefit like this, being around so many great people and having those relationships for my entire life. Everything good in my life that I value right now can be traced back to this place. I met my wife here and my career in basketball really started here. My decision to say “yes” to Coach K set up everything good in my life."

I would encourage any Duke fan to make it a point to read these articles. All of them are very well done.

Every regular on here knows how I feel about Jay Bilas. He was a Dukie, is a Dukie and always will be a Dukie. We should be as proud of him as any other successful alumni. He is at the top of his profession. OFC

Damn I knew they were gonna be darn good, but for Bilas to say that! I can't for the season to get here.

That's because Jay does his job. If UK or unc had this talent he would do the same. Just doing his job. OFC

I really like Bilas. Loved watching him play and his insight into games is unreal. And, I still believe he would make a great coach. Maybe not at Duke , but , somewhere.

Jay would break NCAA rules and end up getting his team on probation and id be fine with it because I agree with him. One of his kids would break a dumb NCAA rule and somehow he NCAA would find out and punish him and the school.

Actually it could be a good thing because Jay wouldn't just sit there and take it he would fight it ala Ed O'Bannon and end up making the NCAA change somethings
