Fordham coach was a long time staffer for Wright at Villanova who took the Fordham job for a year and they went from 2-12 (Covid) to 16-16, proving he could be a head coach.

I love him as a coach and hate him for looking so damn fantastic at 60!

I doubt the NBA plays a role in this as it was wondered above. I am positive the NBA came knocking more than once in the last 10 years.

I read an article in sbnation, I think, that said he had been offered plenty of NBA opportunities but soured on the league and wasn't interested. He just loves Villanova, has money and wants to stay involved with the university. Sounds pretty awesome to me.

Man, Coach K must be scoffing at Wright’s pathetic retirement tour.

Wright is one of the best, underappreciated as a great coach.

I have no idea how much he cheated.
