These are some pretty staggering numbers to go with a serious claim of how good JQ was defensively last year. Travis Graf added that he’ll be Kentucky’s best defensive big man since WCS.

Oh and he’s expected to be back to basketball by September. God willing, that expectation holds up.

Now we see the vision and it's almost set for next year. We are deep, roster is filled with talent and the roster is nearly complete, I trust CMP and company know these young men's hearts and minds and can instill into them a toughness that Kentucky basketball players need to succeed.

If anyone watching all this go down for Kentucky over the past year can't see how vastly better off we are now, as opposed to the past 6 years ...... I can't help them.

I am loving me some Coach Mark Pope right about now !

How 'bout you ?

Go Big Blue !

I ❤️ it! I love this roster! I get that a lot of people are concerned about shooters! IMO we have 3-4 good shooters. Last Year's shooters had a tough time finding good looks due to the fact they were forced off the 3 point line, and made to us beat them scoring 2's. And to many times it worked!

Not only do we have shooters, we have rebounders a real threat at the rim, and I'm hoping we have a few that can hit a floater! Really Good balance.

Where the hell is AD on that list lol?!

No way he wouldn't be at least on it, if not on the top, so the whole list is fubar to me

Chill out yo. I think AD just went back further than the timeline wanted to go. Besides, his stats would just dwarf everybody’s lol.

I guess Olympics Embiid has clouded my memory of college Embiid. I don't watch the NBA but watched the Olympics and it seemed Embiid was nothing but offense.

I was totally freaked out about the thought of JQ committing, with our crappy luck with injuries. He’s a freak athlete and if he gets healed and healthy he will help big time! To be honest I didn’t want anything to do with him at first though. Hopefully he’ll be ready by November at least!
