Badet goes down allowing timeout to kick a field goal? Hell, that's as rare as the cubs winning the pennant.

I agree that was a smart play. CMS is not perfect but perhaps being well coached as to what to do there should be considered.

And to think Stoops coached him to do that ;-) They practice it every week. Many on here will say UK won tonight in spite of Stoops. Fellas, your coach won a game for you tonight. More accurately, the players executed the end of the game the way they were coached.

Stoops said they run that drag play with an end of time situation every week in practice. Have to give Johnson credit for making a good throw there.

I'm glad we won, but it's a pattern for Stoops to get emotional over a call and lose his football sense.

With 9 seconds left, I was unsure whether we'd get the 15 yards we needed to set up a game winning FG. Turned out that we had just enough time.

I don't think the coaching staff did bad tonight myself with what we have to work with, outside of the clock management in the end. Not sure why people look to pile on, and in not a Stoops guy.

I don't think it takes a ton of coaching acumen to have kids instructed to get on the ground to save clock in that situation either.
