Agreed but the timing was horrible unless they already had another coach lined up.
I mean, one of those wins was against #2 Ohio State when he won 49-20 with Purdue--their only loss that year I believe
He might be getting the “Kraft-werk “ raise call from his AD on Sunday .
It's not nonsense--he's not my top choice but he's a better option than Rhule and many other names that have been mentioned

I'd take both over Rhule but I understand what you're saying. Brohm is well respected though and adds the offensive mindset I want. Not my top choice but he should be considered
Actually i'm hoping Terry Smith wins tomorrow, beats OSU or IU , then he's in. After TS, i'd
go with Manny Diaz, Drinkwitz, Freeman, and Fran Brown, in that order.
Fleck’s teams are physical on both sides and run the ball. Never seems, with a couple of exceptions, to have very good passing teams.
You can wish, but it's perception vs. reality. No Cig, Urbs, Nick, all pipe dreams the long shot is Hartline.
Diaz failed miserably at Miami despite a roster with a boatload of talent. What does anyone know about the Tulane guy?

And I'd rather "settle" for a young coordinator than any of those names. I didn't want Cignetti. I know Urban and Saban aren't realistic.
Diaz would need an innovative OC to be successful here, but we could do far worse than Diaz, like Rhule.
Lol he went 16-9 in a weak ACC which is inflated due to his only success being during the nightmare that was COVID. He was deservedly fired after 3 seasons. If you don't think that's failing miserably then...
Absolutely...if he doesn't make the playoff he's gone. 10th time he's lost as a favorite. That's unacceptable. They need to win out and a playoff game or I'd move on.
We understand all that matters is winning, right? Most people finally accept this is a pro sport now...which is has been for decades.
Sure, just fire everybody and roll the dice on coordinators and hope you don’t get yourself fired when it blows up. It’s fun in hot take world, but that’s not how the real world works
