I dont thing eligibility is the issue, its just getting authorized to come into the country.
Isn’t that crazy though? He will make ten times the money I’m guessing so its odd they have an issue with it. I get it if it was 10 even 5 years ago.
I'm not worried yet. I think we're all just a little gun-shy from past incidents with the NCAA. I can't see how they could possibly stop him from playing in this NIL/amateurism era.
It’s concern for sure imo. He might get cleared but right now he’s not. The ones saying we shouldn’t look at our past situations are confusing to me. This is Kentucky not Duke. We have issues with foreign players point blank. Maybe it’s because of softy pants Mitch.

I inquired about his status a month or so ago and was ridiculed by some jackass (can’t remember name) on here who couldn’t fathom why I would be concerned about his winding up at UK in a timely manner. Given our history with Euro players, how could anyone NOT be?

We appear to have gotten a hometown discount to poach the 7th or so best guy Miami (a fringe tourney contender last year) to be our 13th or 14th best player. If anything, Potter is a practice body until JQ is healthy.
Assumption was always that July would be the earliest he'd be here from the reports I saw. That was a month or two ago.

Andrija Jelavić listed on Kentucky MBB's official 2025-26 roster
Incoming Kentucky freshman Andrija Jelavić has yet to make his way to Lexington, but he's listed on the Wildcats' team website roster.
Don't worry unless his teammate from overseas makes it to his campus first and jelavic is still stuck with no answers forthcoming
I'm hearing that he'll be here before the 1st of August that's the path is now clear it would just take some time to travel and set foot on us soil. Edit, now appears late August, don't know why the extra time, but he will be here.

Big Z agrees with you 100%. He was still playing pro ball up until a few weeks ago. He will be here, some of you worry too damn much. After his pro season was finished, he had some stuff to get taken care of. Now days you can just jump on an airplane from across the pond and fly to the US. It takes a little time to get his affairs in order.
It was the academic side that’s slowing his arrival. He should be here mid August.
