Anyone else watched the new Marvel Netflix series? I'm 8 in and it's every bit as solid as Daredevil was. I'm liking these Marvel series quite a bit, much darker turn than the movies.

Somewhere around 4-5 so far. Pretty good, not great IMO. I'll finish it up at some point.

I watched a few episodes and it meh for me. Nothing close to a Breking Bad, TWD, SoA. GoT. Wow it seems like if your show has a name that can be shorted with a few letter then it going to be a hit. This show isn't nearly as good as other Netflix shows. I'd go with Narcos, House of Cards, Hemlock Grove and even Orange is the new black over this show.

Also Master of Nothing with Aziz and his crew is my favorite new show.

Thought every JJ episode was great. Better than WD. Better than SoA. Hard to beat GoT, but they have a budget of 3 million per episode. And breaking bad is best show of all time, imo.

Is Jessica Jones a pretty adult oriented show like I've heard the comics are (I haven't read any of them)? I know a lot of the Marvel movies are pretty childish in my opinion and that kind of crap just doesn't interest me.

Yeah, Jessica Jones is adult oriented. I wouldnt let small children watch this show

I watched it the first weekend and loved it. Episodes 6-9 are especially strong. Really liked Tennant as the villain.

Jessica Jones (and Daredevil) are definitely not for kids.

This is true. There's no F-bombs, nudity or smoking, but besides that, it seems anything goes. The violence is definitely R-rated.

I just finished the first season of Daredevil and really enjoyed it. The Kingpin needs some anger management classes by the way. I just started Jessica Jones right after it. I only watched the first episode, but found it kinda disappointing. Does it get any better after the first episode? If not, I might struggle to watch anymore of it. Women superhero tv shows and movies don't seem like they ever do very well (except maybe the old Linda Carter Wonder Woman tv show).

Have watched about 4 episodes. It's pretty decent but I think DD >>>>>>> JJ. JJ just hasn't really captured my imagination. Not bad but not sure why the critics are raving about it, either.

I think Episode 5 is where it really starts to hit its stride, but I also loved 1-4.
