He's almost unlistenable.

Hard to understand him and he really does not have any chemistry with his partner. That being said, he knows a lot about the game and occasionally provided some interesting insight.

Now that knight is gone he is the worst. Maybe by a long long margin.
Let's not forget that NU was interested in him a few years back. Supposedly he wanted an ok to bring in one recruit each year that didn't quite meet NU admissions. Guess that ended the discussion.

Thus the famous quote from Calhoun in one of the Chicago papers: "I don't do miracles"

I did t realize that was Calhoun providing color today. Definitely sounded like a guy who had coached a lot (and burned out his vocal chords). I actually enjoyed his comments, probably because he spent so much time praising the Cats.

He did a couple of our games last year. Considering he is 74 years old, I beleive he does a decent job.

I liked his basketball knowledge it was clear he new about the game but he compared the people playing to his own players a lot and that kinda bugged me and his voice I guess wasn't appealing but I personally could care less about that and I'm glad he knew about the game which is much better than a lot of commenters who I'm surprised watch basketball for a living.

I can't say the same about his football knowledge. At one point he said he would take Washington State and give 50 points.
