... and that is a travesty.

Arguably the greatest white blues influenced singer in RnR history.

I could post vids but everybody knows his talent.

Just one more reason the HOF is a joke.

I always get angry when a group of people I've never met decide on something that has no effect on my life at all.

The RnR HOF should have about 15 total bands/artists. The rest suck.

TMFS.

Joe Cocker influenced nobody. There wasn't a rash of post-Cocker, epilepsy, screaming cover bands. Eff him.

He doesn't deserve to be in the Rock HOF, for two or three (arguably) great songs, but then again, neither do the Mamas and the Papas (about 2 or 3 memorable songs) and a bunch of others, so I do agree the HOF has become a joke.

We saw Dave Mason last Friday night, and he said that George Harrison gave him a sitar and that he was messing around with it and came up with Feelin' Alright?, which Cocker turned into a hit.

Slayer, Moterhead and Iron Maiden aren't in. Jethro Tull, The Cars and Ted Nugent aren't in. Bad Company and ELP aren't in.

Just sayin.

But LL Cool J, Madonna and Donna Summer are.

Makes sense, huh.

I don't really care about the HOF, but you best believe Mad Dogs and Englishmen is pure :fire:.

He went in, always....at least before the liquor struck down his voice. Love his ****.
