Meh, its an ok place; definitely not the best. Royals is light years better.

But most people that go there realize its fairly mediocre/good especially for the price; as is the case with all his places (Boombazz, Manny and Merle, Joellas). Certainly no need to trash the place in the review, since it puts out exactly the type of food and quality youd expect.

He doesnt have a case, imo. Opinions arent actionable, iirc. But I dont know alot about defamation law.

Joellas is decent for what it is…a chicken joint. It isn't fine dining. No sane person goes to Joellas for the atmosphere. Its a freakin' chicken joint.

The reviewer obviously had an agenda. I found it amusing at the end where he said that he "really wanted his first review to be a good one". Then why didn't he pick one of the many fine dining restaurants in Louisville for his first review? There are a ton.

Only way Palombino has a case is if the "reviewer" doesn't actually exist and its the other restaurant owner posing as said "reviewer". And even then I'd say his case is paper thin. Waste of time and money IMHO.

Supposedly a fake reviewer. The real reviewer is some guy named Griffin Paulin who runs around some other restaurateur gang.

No lie.

BBdK needs to chime in when he gets back. I'm sure he know the foodie scoop
