Name 3 people unrelated to the case as the first witnesses judiciary calls in. This is 3 CNN/MSNBC pundits talking before congress. What a clown show.

Is the House looking to impeach Nixon? This is silly and will probably backfire. They need to treat this seriously. (lmao)
I'm not a big fan of this strategy either. What they are attempting to do is build a case on how important it is for WH staff to testify in order to bring out the truth as Deen and others did during Watergate. In addition, Deen can speak intelligently on the findings of the Mueller report and how it should lead the House into the investigations they are trying to do. Politically, the Dems are hoping this will be positive in the view of the public. I don't think it will matter a whole much as the public will believe whatever spin and half-truths their "guys" talk and will mostly ignore facts and the truth.

To me they're making a mockery of Mueller's work. They're either saying they don't believe him, or he didn't do a thorough enough job after two years and 35 million dollars making a case for either collusion or obstruction (whatever they're going after?).

He's not talking anymore, so they are going to finish what he started or clarify what he found? They're going to make a stronger case for collusion, with greater resources, more information, a more detailed examination of the facts he's already presented? He was "obstructed" from getting to the Truth, but they're going to somehow get to the bottom of what he missed?

I'm curious what they're trying to prove Mueller either didn't or couldn't prove? Is this a criminal investigation (if it is they haven't named a crime, neither did Mueller) or a counterespionage investigation (in which case they have no jurisdiction)

What exactly are they up to?

Part 2 for those that are at least a little bit open minded and interested in the best of the country regardless of partisan crap, the testimony of Dean in terms of history will be very impactful. Dean was part of a WH cover-up and obstruction of justice and no one knows what it looks like more than him. And he has integrity as he became a whistleblower and paid a big price for his role. There is plenty of evidence there is obstruction and cover-ups that far exceed what happened in the 70's and there is not better way of rectifying the present and future by understanding the past and put in place measures to prevent the same type of problems.

That was like 50 years ago. Discuss Trump and the Mueller Report. This isn't hard.

I don't disagree with you. But in today's political environment and the leadership of the Dems are very concerned with getting the public on their side before they go ahead with impeachment. They can identify the political ramifications of holding impeachment hearings and then the Senate not convicting. Trump will be very successful at "total exoneration" ********.

Unfortunately, political positioning is coupled with the government doing their constitutional responsibilities. Only way the Dems see to "win" on all front is convince America on the political side of it first. I don't agree but that is my read of the tea leaves.

Not for idiots like you.

Not for the majority of the country. The only ones who thinks its a big deal that he is testifying are the far left loons like yourself. Just like the morons who took a day off of work and held watch parties for the Comey testimony.

Meh. They need to stop being pussies and lead. Whether it ends in his impeachment and removal from office, impeachment and let off by the Senate or not impeached at all. The Nixon impeachment was against public wishes....until people heard everything in the impeachment inquiries. I'm gonna go tweet @ dumb Nancy.

Mueller was in search of a non existent crime called collusion and turned that into possible "obstruction"...now Dems in Congress are trying to prove the crime of obstruction by accusing Trump of covering up collusion Mueller never found. It's like the Rocky series. Rocky I wasn't good enough. So we get a "do over"

How is John Dean a piece of ****?
Was he involved in the Mueller report? What factual evidence does Dean have about this entire case? He only wants a little face time. Bru is correct.....John Dean......not Deen..... is a "complete partisan nut".

Two reasons: he is a complete partisan nut and I wrote Dean has integrity. I could say the sky is blue and the guy harbors such hatred, he would respond opposite.
I don't harbor any hatred for you......I actually feel sorry for you. You pretend to be one thing but your actions say otherwise.....and they show you end up as the true "complete partisan nut". I suggest you put me on ignore since you don't have the "balls" to respond directly to my posts.

Isn't it amusing how the "nuts" and "partisans" are only found on the Right? Folks on the Left are open minded, rational, tolerant, patient, kind, understanding, accepting, non partisan, and willing to calmly discuss alternative ideas don't 'ya know?

You don't have to "suggest" being put on ignore by Leftists. Just disagree with any one of them and it's guaranteed that's where they'll relegate your unwelcome comments.

They have the numbers and they can do whatever they want.....John Dean has zero connections to the Russian investigation and the Mueller investigation. He is only going to repeat what the Dems anti Trump theme. Me being not "happy" has nothing to do with what this Dean move is really all about.

Probably......It may be news to you but.......the American people elected a reality TV "star" who knew what he is/was going in. John Dean is a rat and can never escape that stigma.. And no....you are of no value to the Dems.

Sort of. Obviously they want Dean to give public testimony that would draw parallels of Watergate to the potential obstruction charges against Trump.

Nixon tried to cover up the bugging of the DNC headquarters. Trump hasn't "covered up" anything (no obstruction) didn't "bug" anyone (no collusion) and the cover up of the spying on his campaign HQ was being run out of the Obama DOJ and White House. Where's the parallel to Watergate?

House Democrats are going to find the "collusion" Mueller obviously skipped over. (Senate Judiciary, FBI, House Judiciary, and Senate Intel committees too [eyeroll]) They will also prove Trump obstructed Mueller's investigation at every turn, and Trump personally directed the cover up designed to hide his cavorting with those Bolsheviks to steal Hillary's votes from Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Florida.

There is no way Trump won that election fairly, and Nadler and his House Truth seekers are going to lay it all out for us exactly how he stole the '16 election with help of the Russians and covered up the whole affair. @countryroads89 of course already knows all of this, but is simply waiting for Nadler to explain it all so as not to steal his thunder.
