Watched both coaches press conferences. Pretty good stuff. But John needs to speak up or they need better microphones.
Props to Coach Smith and the Pokes for being a part of history. Like he said, normally the #1 team wouldn't willingly put themselves into that type of environment. What a great way to start the season! The history, the record, the fanatical enthusiasm were more important than who won or lost. Besides, it's so early in the season...who will care who beat who 4 months from now...there's a lot of season left.
I could listen to Coach Smith talk all day. Something about his low key approach and straight talk that makes him seem like a real honest and wise man.
