They hit it off well with each other and the coaches. JY says his list is down to two schools.

Unlikely Young comes, but what is encouraging is Ledford. Golic Jr, former college Olineman, thinks he is the one of the best college Oline coaches in teaching the wide zone scheme. The zone blocking scheme is trending right now in the NFL even though it has been around for a while. I think Oline recruiting and play is going to pick up.

Seems like a huge get for this staff if it happens. The kind that can springboard into lots of momentum.

If he is a long shot, that must mean he has eliminated us from his final 2. Any info on who his final 2 are? His list had heavyweights Michigan, OSU and Georgia on it from what I read.

Also FWIW, John Young’s Twitter feed has been all UofL the past week. Fingers crossed.

For real though, what's up with these pics, Marcus posted it with the hand over the mouth emoji and the other guy with the teeth showing emoji, seems like the next one in line would be the one that's laughing out loud. I hope they didn't think it's as cheesy as it seemed to me. There was at least potential there for that thought. And please please please new coaching staff, don't start wearing stuff saying "the ville", it's TACKY, and also we had a real bad experience with a coach who tried to popularize it (kragthorpe). Don't try to force it back on us!!! Also what's with the neon wings now too. Idk im sorry im rambling, it just seems our football program has gotten real idk what to call it, gimmicky? Idk lo siento! Bye!

“The ville” was around way before krags and will be around long after him. It might be cheesy to you but its cool to them.

The whole "The Ville" thing is so played out and cheesy. When I hear "The Ville" I think of that horrible "The Ville" bouncy house thing that the players used to run through, and those uniforms with "THE VILLE" on Krag's teams while they were getting rolled by 60 by Rutgers. Plus it's just dumb, I roll my eyes when Pittsburghers talk about "the Burgh" or even worse "da Burgh."

Anyway, I'm old dude, who cares what I think. Go get em, Coach.

Its a French thing ya know.....and is part of the heritage of this city, like it or not. And, for tradition purposes, who the hell else does it???? Louisville has the market cornered on this one.

I'm an old dude too....and I mostly don't care what others think about me.

Don't lie - that "The Ville" bouncy house that used to be on the field was really intimidating and fierce.

It is probably part of the "We're having fun again" thing they are promoting after last year's misery but I agree with you on the pictures. They make me cringe. But again whatever, I'm old and I'm not the target audience. Maybe being really cheesy is in right now, who knows. If they win 6 games next year they can put 10 VILLE bouncy houses on the field if that's what works. Invite SpongeBob to play in the VILLE bouncy houses, whatever.

Aren't the Stone Temple Pilots and Pearl Jam new bands?
