Obviously Paige and Phillip have been great most of the season and Dax has had some great games for us. But I want to say hats off to Jonathan Holton. No matter what the rest of the team does this kid always brings it and WVU is lucky to have a player like him. He has really found his role and WVU is nowhere near as good without him.

I told my wife the same thing shortly after the game was over. All of the players have looked good at times this year. Devin Williams and Nathan Adrian have really struggled in conference play. Today I believe Devin lost most of his 1 on 1 defensive match ups.

I question Devin's health status. He always plays hard and he just hasn't looked the same recently. He may not be the type that wants people to know if he's hurt.

Holton has been playing great of late.

Paige and Phillip are playing, right now, like our best 2 players. If you think about it, they accounted for just over 50% of our scoring today.....and they both come off the bench. Phillip absolutely took over the final 90 seconds. Huggs made the perfect coaching maneuver. He pulled Carter, put Phillip in, and he gets the next 8 points for the win.

I didn't like Holton last year or the beginning of this year. However, I love him now. He has become the first person WVU needs every game. He is playing great! I also think that Paige is playing great too. I think we need both Holton and Paige to play well every game to keep winning. Williams is good too, but he is having trouble with double teams down low and is trying too hard, thus, he is missing easy baskets.

I read a post where a feller thinks Devin is basically just playing to showcase himself and not playing for the team. Well, if that's true..................he needs to go back to playing team ball.

Well if it's on the Internet by an unknown person, it must be true

Not sure why you keep harping on my observation... I'm far from the only person to see this. Listen to Jay Jacobs, a guy that watches every game and nearly every practice.

Dadgumm it.......................I just can't see what other folks see and would like to know what to look for in Devin's play. Devin should be able to see that something ain't working and that bench time won't impress the scouts. Seriously, I do respect your knowledge of the game.

I'm a huge Holton fan... ...but maybe he could limit the 'I can't believe that foul call on me' reaction to less than each and every foul he gets called for....

Agree with everyone on Holton. Kid is the hardest worker on the team. Every single game he gives his best effort.

I think alot of this is confidence. It just seems like it took him a ton of time to find his way in this offense. He does a lot of little things really well.
Oh yeah...Williams is putting a ton of pressure on himself.
