Apparently, he went to visit his newborn son, in Euclid Ohio, which is right on the border with cleveland, and some deranged 60 something stabbed him. He was released from hospital yesterday, and is expected to make a full recovery. Police have made an arrest of his assailant. The story was on Fox8 news in cleveland.

Also, as an aside, when the reporter was interviewing him and his mother, he was rocking a go big blue shirt. :)

Sorry if already posted, but I hadn't seen it on here, or any of the other news sites.

Apparently, he won't be able to have practice contact for 6 to 12 weeks. Refresh my memory, he is coming from juco, set to arrive in fall, with 3 years of eligibility?
TIA.

Basically right but I think his arrival date may be for summer. Really bad, he's a likely starter at Jack if not early then by mid-year.

Seriously, this guy sounds bats*** insane. Let the boy spend some time with his child and the girl, and not raise hell and stab the boy over it. Glad it was nothing life-threatening though, hope Bonner makes a quick and total recovery.

Maybe. But JUCOs are brought in to play. Regardless, it makes the position stronger and that's a good thing.
I hope he does not have to start. Guys like Walker Ware and Allen have been in the program 2 and 3 years it's time for these guys to produce.

I think we will just wait and see how he recoveries and progresses through the summer. No coach would make a medical RS decision now, if available, why would fans?

The reason why I said it's doubtful is it isn't close to actual games. The NCAA I dont think would do that. The NCAA is always heartless.

I more worried about the class time he is missing than I am the physical injuries. Need him on campus at the earliest opportunity.
