Can't say enough about the play we've got from him this season- so happy he's just a SOPH- so great to have him back to lead a defense on a team that brings a ton back on offense.

He goes out one play yesterday and UL gets a TD- If he plays against UT we win...

He was great. He needs to bulk up. I think sometimes it gets ate up by bigger guards when they run right at him. He's going to be special for sure.

Agree with all the praise, a real winner, and it is exciting to think that Eli, a year behind him eligibility wise and with a redshirt, was ahead of him for a while a little earlier. Pretty similar players physically.

He finished the regular season with 101 tackles and 4 sacks and he went out in the first half vs. Tenn or he probably would've had more.

Bowl game left too.

Yes he does, I hope he can do that without losing a step

At times he seems to be moving twice as fast as the rest of the defense. Love his attitude and zest for the game. Reminiscent of Wesley Woodyard.

Our players should continue to upgrade in talent with every recruiting class, if we continue to improve, which we should, based on the players returning, and better recruiting classes. I think we can be a force in the SEC if we continue to recruit like we have, and even improve our recruiting in the next couple of years. I believe we have really good coaches, who can coach players up.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!

I think Tre came in at about 210# and left at about 230#, also noted as being one of the fastest players on the team. And tre wasn't just a two star, he was only a 5.3 two star. I think Brooks and crew had a great eye for overlooked talent, and so does this group, but it doesn't hurt a bit that we are getting higher rated players now.

I always thought it was significant that as soon as Tre was safely signed Brooks said he wasn't a two star, he was a four star.

And I think he was low in his estimate even then. We struck gold with Jordon, and I think we have with Josh and some of our other underrated players.

If and when he gets a little more help in the front 7 we will take a big step defensively,we are a couple of playmakers short of changing the look and feel of this unit.I think we get there next season.

Hes Wesley Woodyard 2.0

Similar size and plays almost exactly like how Wesley did.

We bring back a ton on defense too.

We only lose one D-lineman and 3 DB's from our two-deep at 12 positions. IOW we return 21 of our top 24 players and we add little used and RS players like CB's Beckham & Robinson, Safetys West, Walker & Gilliam, D-linemen K Daniel, Carter, Cross & Looney and LB's Bonner, Bannerman, Walder & Watson.

Not to mention the 3 or 4 Jucos we'll undoubtedly sign.
