Should have named an interim days ago, maybe we wouldn’t have half the roster with a foot out the door. Clueless clown show.

Kriisa back in WVU uniform.

Tre Mitchell probably gone considering it's Kentucky that wants him

JT probably returns for NIL pay bump.

Best news in days.

I wasnt against promoting from within with an interim coach, but taking a week to do it was bad.

Losing Mitchell is bad. Touissant shouldn't get a "pay bump" (can't believe we are saying this about college players, but it is what it is today). We are pretty strong at the guard position. He made his bed, let him sleep in it.

Losing Mitchell? You mean the guy that fouled constantly, started a fight and played like he was on summer vacation playing sand lot pick up games. Not a big loss.

That's your opinion. He's a 12 ppg 8 reb guy. That's pretty important to have if you want a deep team to make a run.

Awesome for him. How many turnovers missed key foul shots and drops did he have? How many points did he give up to his opponent 25? Doesn't seem like a fair trade.

He was lazy and non competitive. Good luck to him where ever he lands. If he comes back fine.

The player leaving that is now hurting is Wague. Role players are jealous of NIL being given to better players and see their minutes shrinking.

So, Mitchell is a "let him go" and Wague is a "must keep"? Damn. Do you even watch the games?

You clearly don't understand the game of basketball....go find people that play Candyland....that is more your speed when you are driving your van around passing out free candy.....

I'm in the hope we keep Wague camp and am fine we lose Mitchell. And yes, been watching all the games possible since Huggins was playing.

Yep. Not sure how you think Wague is more impactful than Mitchell was.
Never said more impactful. Said it would hurt more. Wague gave 100% effort. Over played at times and aggressive with reaching in. Has more upside and 3 more years.

Let me know when and if Mitchell ever plays to his potential. What's it been 6 years and still under performing. Poor defense and lazy offense.

I've seen Mitchell with Texas and us. I label him as a soft player with showy talent but not a tough competitor. Yes, he can score if you don't put a body on him but he will never been a leading player. I like Wague's competitiveness and toughness on the inside. He is young and develping nicely when he was healthy. A good team in the Big 12 needs several of these type of players on the roster.

True. But ask yourself this..........Would Wague or Okonkwo have put up anywhere near those numbers?
It is a team game where the collection of players produce a win or a loss. You know that.

Not arguing Mitchell isn't talented nor am I happy he left the program. You shouldn't argue that other valuable pieces on the roster aren't as important for the health of the team in your attempt of making a stubborn point about individual stats.

The point I'm making is that Mitchell has skills to do more than those other players, and losing him hurts a lot worse. Going in to the portal to find replacements for the other guys isn't difficult. There are players that can average 4-6 ppg and 4-6 rebounds. But there isn't many that has the skill level as Mitchell.

I'm not sure why you think it is a "stubborn point" to bring it up? It's fact.

A stubborn point is defined as ignoring all facts and points of others in order to brow beat a slanted point of view in order to "one-up" someone else. You tend to do it on almost every subject.

No need to respond. You asked, I answered. I do appreciate your points but your inability to see your own shortcomings while slamming others is a little tiring. But if you enjoy it, go for it. I don't engage others much directly anymore but I do enjoy your participation on subjects and am just trying to waste time this morning.

Mitchel talented yes. Problem is he gave no effort. Just think if he played up to the level of talent he is capable of.

Hands of stone and probably played stoned.
