Jayden Quaintance was more than ready for his Kentucky debut.
He wasn’t medically cleared to play until 11 days ago. It’s typically a 1 year rehab, he did it in 9 months.Explains why for three months I've been wondering how I could have possibly been so wrong about PT recovery in the post-MTOR era.
ExactlyHe may have been ready but it’s not smart for his future and our season to risk his heath that early. I would have loved to have him but this was the proper way to go IMHO. I see the link is from Facebook though so it’s probably AI ********.
Def not AI.He may have been ready but it’s not smart for his future and our season to risk his heath that early. I would have loved to have him but this was the proper way to go IMHO. I see the link is from Facebook though so it’s probably AI ********.
Good Lord Yes! I don't frequent FB like I used to... got on last week and there was some UK CATS account I used to follow that was dropping nothing but fake UK stories for clickbait. He may have been ready but it’s not smart for his future and our season to risk his heath that early. I would have loved to have him but this was the proper way to go IMHO. I see the link is from Facebook though so it’s probably AI ********.
I didn’t click on it because most of them are.Def not AI.
Everything in the clip matches today- and there's no quirky mis-spellings in the background texts
We are fastly approaching that point though.....
9-12 months is the typical recovery timeline for the top athletes with the best care and best Doctors performing the surgery in the world. There was really no chance he'd come back before late Dec early Jan.Explains why for three months I've been wondering how I could have possibly been so wrong about PT recovery in the post-MTOR era.

No, it’s not now. Which is why I wrote “post-MTOR.”He wasn’t medically cleared to play until 11 days ago. It’s typically a 1 year rehab, he did it in 9 months.
Or its because November games dont matter so why the risk.I really hope that's Pope trying to be funny.......if he truly could've played against UNC or UofL.....
Or its because November games dont matter so why the risk.
Again, no one hangs banners for "undefeated at thanksgiving"
People will find any possible angle to rip Pope. He did the right thing. Period.
No, but they can give out 1 seeds for it. Are you seriously trying to play the game of "we're a March team?" So why weren't you furious after the way last season ended?Or its because November games dont matter so why the risk.
This was the best game to put him in some, as it was a good opponent, but hes probably not in full game shape, then we have a bunny game where he can play a lot, then we start sec.
Again, no one hangs banners for "undefeated at thanksgiving"
I disagree. Sometimes understanding adversity and struggle needs to be considered. I have an issue with supposed fans who do nothing but b*tch constantly. There are many that didnt want Pope here to begin with and spew nothing but hatred. Makes you wonder if they are trully Kentucky fans or trolls with an agenda. I am still waiting on any of them to give props for the progress made the last 2 games but no. They are still miserable.Of course he did. But again, when you got knocked around a alot early- that's not the joke I would be using. Just me though.
Wrong. 90% of NFL players take at least 9 months. No, it’s not now. Which is why I wrote “post-MTOR.”
Plus while I don't really wanna be the it's all about March person but...........if him sitting out an additional month or so lessens the likilihood of injury in the future, it just makes sense to not risk it.
Do you know Pope made the comment or are you just basing this off of a Facebook post which are usually 99% false and clickbait?I don't disagree. Pope just makes some interesting comments from time to time. This is one of them.
ExactlyBy waiting out the 9 months he decreased the odds of injuring the knee in the next two years. Just what I read. I’ve never had and ACL torn.
Umm.....it's in the video. Watch it. And no it's not AI.Do you know Pope made the comment or are you just basing this off of a Facebook post which are usually 99% false and clickbait?
MSU, UofL and Zaga, JQ wouldn’t have been the difference. Maybe we keep it closer in those games though. UNC on the other hand, was a much closer game where JQ would or could have been the difference between a win or a loss. That you Cal? They sure as **** do matter, especially against quality competition and for seeding. Yes they do.
MSU, UofL, Zaga and UNC will be Q1 quality from then until March. You can book that.
Also banner hanging teams don't get torched like we did either.
UL was awful shooting the 3, JQ shutting down the entire paint turns that 8 point loss into a win most likely.... brown doesn't get all the way to the rim against JQ but the results are all that matter and we lost by 8.MSU, UofL and Zaga, JQ wouldn’t have been the difference. Maybe we keep it closer in those games though. UNC on the other hand, was a much closer game where JQ would or could have been the difference between a win or a loss.
