Was this the best school he could pretty much be guaranteed to start for on his last go around? If it is, that's a rather ignominious ending for a 5 star recruit who played at USC and UGA. Seems injuries and bad luck were not the primary reasons he didn't retain the starting job at his previous stops.

Not sure if true however I heard locally that he is transferring specifically for the academics. He is going to enroll in their MBA program which is considered by some to be one of the top in the country of schools that have football programs. It's also good to take advantage as the cost is 70k per year.

If true it makes sense to invest in his future.

That is not a bad idea if that is the case.

Hope does well.

I have no ill will at all towards him and do wish him the best. I'm just pointing out that, while JT is not a bad player, he was riding much more hype than actual performance when he came on board last year and he did not actually underperform as much as some want to claim.
