Woman is a moron. These coaches aren't babysitters. Offseason arrests happen everywhere in the country. While it isn't a good look, Strong didn't recruit these kids and has only been at USF a few months. Unwarranted bashing.

This...... She is also a USF alum, so it sounds to me like she's got an opinion on the hiring of the new coach at her Alma Mater.

That's how I took it too. He is brand new on the job. He hasn't coached a single game for USF yet. He deserves a fair shake before getting bashed over something out of his control. That judge (like a lot of judges in this country) has a hidden agenda by bashing coach Strong.

In my opinion... One of Charlie's strengths was his ability to find recruits who were not only winners... with NFL potential, but kids who were relatively good kids.... Kids who stayed out of trouble. He took great pride in mentoring kids into becoming young men, and he often talking of recruiting character as much as talent... It showed. This judge is way off base, and out of line. I charge her with contempt!

Agreed 10000%. Charlie's history has shown he is good to the players he recruits and functions as coach as part of one big family. Who was the RB who converted to Safety (I think) who got a 2nd or 3rd DUI, and Charlie removed him from the team, kept him on scholarship on the condition that he went to AA? Darius Ashley. Say what you want about Charlieball, how he left, his love for MILF poon, etc etc, but he's a good dude to his players when he is their coach. Charlie has been there long enough for a Spring Camp - seriously, Judge, WTF?

Wise move on her part. Gotta give her credit for quickly recognizing that her personal feelings were influencing her impartiality as a judge.

Charlie will have plenty of time to prove her wrong about the character of his teams, and I'm sure that he will.

I don't know how a coach can come in and change the lives of players he did not recruit and has never coached in a game in 4 months. This "so-called" judge is a joke.
