Like the thawing of the snow heralding the onset of spring, the start of fall practice brings an end to the long summer dry spell following the spring game.

The game has gone, and is undergoing, many changes I don't like, and I fear it will become a sport unrecognizable to the one I love. But, for now, it's still the best thing going in sports.

First practice tomorrow morning at 9:20 am.

We'll finally have some football news to talk about!

Makes me miss the days when Spurrier was here and hearing his post-practice comments. QBs can't hit the broadside of a barn. Receivers can't catch a cold. RBs can't run through a hole the size of a dump truck. Nobody can hold onto the dadgum ball.

Steve Spurrier once put it best when he talked to the media in a gaggle interview during Fall camp 2015: "Everybody's undefeated at this time. Everything's going great."
