Yep, that one was a pick 6 all the way and was a 14 point swing...then, the usual **** just seemed to happen.

I was the game too. I stayed until the bitter end, while some left at 38-35. I can't say that I blamed them though. And, yes I did boo during the game.

Actually, as soon as the defense completely fell asleep at the end of the first half, you just knew a "magical" UKFB moment was about to ensue. The McClain drop simply guaranteed it.

I swear i seen multiple fans cheering (while wearing uk clothes) after the first seriies of the game saying now we can fire stoops.

Guy in front of me stated " I hope we lose every game till we fire him". right after usm went up 7-0

Stoops is our best chance at developing long term success and I hope he succeeds at that

Yup. I got in to it with a guy two rows in front of me because he told me to go home because I was too loud. I will say this, I know fans don't play, but our atmosphere was awful tonight. We were up 35-10 and people were leaving. For a fan base that complains about the team giving up or not staying focused the entire game, we sure do have a majority of our fanbase that does the exact thing they bash the team for.

People were pissed at the defense; I was in section 230. It just got to a point, where no one really said anything. On that one play, where the RB broke about 20 tackles while running left then running right, people were fuming. Then it was resignation. No adjustments.

Atmosphere was weak tonight. The Southern Miss fans were louder than we were, when one compares the amount of people. It only got loud on third down, or a big play.

Not being able to teach your defensive players how to tackle after year 4, when defense is your forte, will cause fans that shell out thousands to watch a C-USA team run all over us, to get a little irate. Especially when the Offensive Coordinator for the same C-USA team was FIRED by our Head Coach!!!!!!

When you get abused by a guy you FIRED, it will cause you to APOLOGIZE to those same LOYAL fans after the game for the PITIFUL performance you just gave them!!!!!

Fans have EVERY RIGHT to be UPSET!!!

People want something to gripe about. And if we were winning 8 games a year wouldn't be good enough. Heck talk about firing cal was going on during the Noel year. Makes it hard to try and respect people when they want to worse to happen so they can say l, hey I was right and knew so and so couldn't coach.

I do have one complaint. When leaving and going towards our vehicle they wouldn't let us pass between the practice facility and the stadium. Where he second cat walk was. Game had a minute left ad said was for he team. A lot of people upset at that. We didn't want to set and watch them walk off the field to locker room after that game. Security was very rude. And that is things that will keep a fan base from wanting success.

Have players go to meeting room where they went last year get pads off, put them in bins and then let them head to practice facility. Don't make paying fans who have high priced parking passes (I don't) walk 3/4 around stadium out of there way to leave.

Who you gonna bring in that would at least thinking about staying Long term. He is young, recruits areas well that we always wanted to get talent from, comes from a coaching family everyone knows, precvious major coordinator for one of the best programs last 30 years.

Stoops is also good for donors (imagine if he wins), presentable at any group you throw him in front of, and seems to be a relentless worker. Go hire a sure fire up and comer and first taste of moderate success they are heading towards bigger pastures And we are right back to square one. So you can hire an older end of career guy that if successful he won't be lured by the big boys and he retires and you start all over again. We need a guy like bob stoops, mark richt, ect who can stay keep program clean and build a program and not a spark and gone.

Just stop caring, guys. This program hasn't had a winning sec record in 40 years. If you think that's going to happen anytime soon, you have an IQ in the 60s.

I feel bad for people like larry vaught and freddie maggard. What I mean is I feel bad at the amount of energy and time they've poured into a hapless program that will never do jack in my kid's lifetimes. I really feel sorry for them.

I really wish I could say something positive, but I've been following UK football since 1952 and I've never seen anything like the UK experience at ANY other football program.

Just wondering....did Towles secretly come back for the 2nd half or was that his ghost? Maybe Morgan Newton?

Are you ignorant to the fact that the OC we FIRED hung 44 points on us with a crap team?

Stoops first HC gig out of the box has been a dismal failure. He is not the guy. The players and coaches have proven something inherently wrong with preparation.

Both UK lines of scrimmage were steaming piles of turd in the second half. Coaching? You bet.

Stoops GTFO!!!!

We have lost our identity. We accept loser coaches and fans like yourself

Umm... Don't you need to first have something before you can "lose" it?

I hate to break it to you but, except for a few temporary blips (most notably the Bear Bryant years), this has pretty much always been UK Football's "identity" for the greater part of the last century. This is more accurately characterized as "just more of the same" than loss of identity.

Yes, self-loathing is a terrible character feature.

Fans aren't obligated to be loyal to a bad product.

Are you a donor? Because nobody in the stands gives a hot ish about donors. They care about winning.

And what difference does it make if Stoops brings in a whole galaxy of five stars if he continues to lose games?

How can this guy possibly be the best we can do?

1. In his FOURTH year (mostly his own recruits).

2. Can't beat a CUSA team.

3. At home.

4. First game (team should be fresh and prepared).

5. Against the OC he fired last year.

6. And gives up 31 unanswered points. (Edit correction: 34 points. I was being too kind).

7. And he's supposed to be a defensive minded coach.

And at least one of you seriously says he's the best we can do? Seriously??

Fans at UK have issues...but go to the UT game....those fans were the same during App St game. Simply put when you have a shaky coach...the faith of fans during games is going to wane....and we have a really shaky program under Stoops.

The offense didn't help the defense in the second half but they didn't help themselves either. Make some stops and they can get off the field, those long scoring drives were their own fault.

Were they gassed in the first half when they completely fell asleep and let the USM WR stroll right down the middle of the field for a TD right before halftime? Were they too tired to catch a gimme pick-6? How about the first 3 drives of the 2nd half when USM drove the ball right down their throats for TDs? Were they tired for all 3 of those drives just stepping out of the break for halftime?

The offense didn't help them at all in the 2nd half but giving up 28 points in 4 consecutive drives when they shouldn't have been tired at all is inexcusable.

Pretty much accepted the fact that UK football is just going to suck. Stoops sucks so it's a good fit. We left when it was apparent USM was going to score to take the lead and UK had no chance to win the game. We won't be back this year and sadly my Saturday's will not revolve around planning on watching the Games. Have seen enough!!!! It's sickening really!!!

Again, we were playing very well and up 35-10 when people were leaving. I am not talking about being upset after a loss. I am talking about not cheering, getting mad at those who do, and then leaving even when we are playing well.

Got a feeling this will be the way it plays out the whole season. If you can't stop the run you're going to be on the field ALOT . And we have no D line depth .
