If OU had beaten Texas earlier in the season and was undefeated and ranked in the top 4, would they still make the playoffs if they lost to Texas in the Big XII Championship?

The simple answer is no, so why would Georgia get a pass after losing its 2nd game?

You’re exactly right. Their answer would be that Georgia lost to #1 in a close game. That’s the narrative the SEC sucks ups are pouting. It’s all they got. Lmao.

What grinds my gears is we lost on a last second FG in a rivalry game. Georgia lost by 20 to LSU....then blew a lead in SEC Championship. So why exactly are they even in any consideration. We have not lost a game since the RRR. Georgia has two losses since then.

I don't understand why Ohio State is even mentioned. Yes, they beat rival Michigan, but only after winning 52-51 to a bad Maryland team, not to mention the inexcusable 29-point loss to a 6-6 Purdue team. That right there should eliminate them.

I would actually think Ohio State has more of a claim to make the playoff than Georgia. They are a one-loss team that won it's conference. Georgia has 2 losses and no conference title.

Agreed and these talking pundits seem to forget that last year despite Ohio St having a stronger case than Bama last year it was all about 2 losses vs 1. How things change year to year by those ESPN idiots is actually comical. No bias towards the SEC my ***.
